  *  no make-up weekly quiz in the spring semester

  *  weekly quiz at the 2nd half of Monday class, so attend Zoom class beforehand   

  *  end of the grading period = deadline to make-up missing items; power of zero; monitor online grade book

  *  test / quiz will be more strictly time-limited via use of google forms rather than google docs.  if there's a technology issue preventing its submission, you have up to 5 minutes after the deadline to send it as an email file attachment to me; otherwise, the score = 0.  only the 1st submission will be graded.    

   *  will incorporate more student "work at white board" activity

   *  encourage asking questions
